Hong Leong Yamaha Distributors Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Hong Leong Industries Berhad, recently launched Yamaha Nouvo AT 115 – its first new automatic moped, which is projected to boost its share of the domestic motorcycle market from 20% last year to 30% this year. The company is aiming to sell 20,000 units of the Nouvo by year-end.

The new moped is the first to combine the three elements of an automatic transmission, a helmet compartment and an underbone frame; powered by a 115cc four-stroke engine.
