Semiconductor Group
The Semiconductor businesses are conducted through Malaysian Pacific Industries Berhad (MPI) (http://www.mpind.my). MPI was incorporated in 1962 under the name of Federal Paper Products Sdn Bhd and became a public company in 1969. MPI is a public listed company and its shares are traded on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. It was listed in 1983.
MPI is principally an investment holding company whilst the principal activities engaged by its subsidiary companies are that of manufacturing, testing and sale of integrated circuits, semiconductor devices, electronic components and leadframes to customers world-wide.
Carsem
MPI is presently one of the top six (6) semiconductor sub-contract assembly operators in the world with a global market share of between 4-5%.
Dynacraft

Its Assembly and Test of IC operations are handled by the Carsem Group of Companies while the leadframe operations are handled by the Dynacraft Group of Companies.
