JIM KHOR MUN WEI
Group Managing Director of Hong Leong Industries Bhd and Managing Director of Hong Leong Yamaha Motor Sdn Bhd
Professor Dato’ Dr Jim Khor Mun Wei has invested almost three decades of his career with Hong Leong Yamaha Motor Sdn Bhd (HLYM). He joined the company on 11 November 1991 as a Quality Assurance Engineer and has developed his career with the HLI Group.
At HLYM, Professor Dato’ Dr Jim Khor has well-rounded experience in various parts of the business, including the parts and service department, manufacturing operations and sales and marketing. He was promoted to the role of Managing Director of HLYM in 2015. He is concurrently the Group Managing Director of Hong Leong Industries Berhad, a role he was promoted to on 1 August 2020.
Professor Dato’ Dr Jim Khor graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from Glamorgan University, UK. He obtained his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of South Australia in 2009. He further obtained his Doctorate in Business Administration from the Binary University of Management and Entrepreneurship on 12 January 2022. He was appointed as Adjunct Professor for the Faculty of Business and Technology of the University of Cyberjaya, effective April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2025.
SALLY CHENG LI YONG
Managing Director of Guocera Sdn Bhd
Ms Sally Cheng Li Yong started her career in 2001 as an Account Executive in Lafarge Roofing Malaysia and took on the role of the Senior Technical Sales at Boral Plasterboard in 2006 where she was promoted to Sales Manager in 2008. She joined Gypsum division of Saint Gobain Malaysia as the National Sales Manager in 2012 managing the teams in Malaysia/Singapore and subsequently promoted to Deputy Managing Director in 2014.
In 2015, she joined Niro Ceramic Sales & Services Sdn Bhd as the General Manager of Domestic Project Sales and took over the whole domestic sales division in 2018.
In 2020, she joined Mydecor Sdn Bhd as Managing Director before joining Guocera Sdn Bhd as Head of Commercial in March 2021 and subsequently promoted as the Managing Director in October 2021.
Ms Sally Cheng graduated from University of Science Malaysia with a Bachelor degree (Honours) in Mass Communication.

JOHN LAU SIEW HONG
General Manager of HLY Marine Sdn Bhd
Mr John Lau Siew Hong has spent over two decades developing and advancing his career at HLYM. He began his career at HLYM as a management trainee in June 1996. He has 23 years of working experience in several critical parts of the business, such as Sales and Marketing, as well as the Part departments. He was promoted to the role of General Manager of HLY Marine Sdn Bhd in July 2019, to head the Yamaha marine outboard motor distribution business in Peninsular Malaysia.
Mr John Lau graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) in Economy from Universiti Malaya.
Goh Eng Tatt
Chief Financial Officer of Hong Leong Industries Bhd
Mr Goh Eng Tatt has over seven years of auditing experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He joined the Hong Leong Group in 2004, where he has held various finance roles of increasing responsibility over a period of 18 years. Previously, he held the Chief Financial Officer position at Southern Steel Berhad Group.
